The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, World Advocates Jordan aims to raise the standard of the nation, by reaching out to the orphans and the abondoned and neglected children, by providing them with opportunities to reintegrate them back in society plus training them in leadership skills in order to serve their nation as future leaders.

There are more or less 70,000 children who are under 18 years of age that have lost at least one parent.

Approximately, 4,000 children drop out of school every year,10,000 children annually passing through the juvenile justice system and up to the 390 000 children live in poverty, which is not surprising with one in three Jordanians unemployed. 55% of Jordanians are under twenty.

At present, World Advocates Jordan, is providing vocational training, housing assistance and tools for self-sufficiency for post orphanage young women. The long term goal is for these young women to take their place in society as well integrated citizens. Post orphanage self-sufficiency is a rarely considered issue. Established relationships over the last few years have resulted in being able to network across the board with other organizations, national as well as international, in order to strengthen the effort to develop these young women as leaders among their peers.
